Growing Together Impact stories

Play is a basic need and a fundamental right for all children. Refugee children however, rarely have the opportunity to be a child. Handicap International and Ikea Foundation created play opportunities for vulnerable children in Thailand, Pakistan and Bangladesh and raised awareness among the local communities about the importance of play. Play makes children happy and healthy. It allows them to learn, improves their self-esteem and helps them to develop important life skills.
